IOST Collaborates with Zodium to Support NFT Expansion

Curated as a powerful Play2Earn project using ERC-20 mechanics to help users indulge in gaming for earning rewards, Zodium has entered into a strategic partnership with IOST, the top-tier decentralized, scalable blockchain firm.

The integration will allow IOST to further its NFT and blockchain-powered gaming cluster using Zodium’s impressive technology. The P2E platform will help users to deal in NFT gaming and earn quick rewards via a safe and secure interface. Zodium is known for enriching users with an enticing setup that draws inspiration from animal and astrological zodiac signs. The characters are designed by the renowned firm, IDOU Inc. They are named as the ’12 KINDs’ and depict the twelve zodiac creatures such as tiger, dragon, snake, monkey, dog, etc. The Soul Zodiac feature helps to build connections with these characters as they represent the same star and animal sign as the player. This feature helps users to fetch some juicy rewards as their credit.

The team is set to launch the 12 KINDs characters in the third quarter of 2022 with an expansion scheme that spreads to goods, shops, theme parks, etc. The P2E feature helps customers earn rewards in proportion to their contributions. This gives customers a feel that they own the channel. Zodium aspires to influence people and bring them together by leveraging blockchain technology.

The NFT sector is witnessing tremendous growth in recent times and this collaboration is a clear indicator of this successful streak. In the recent third quarter, the IOST ecosystem saw huge expansion in its NFT kingdom, especially with the July launch of ‘Revival’, the portal’s user-friendly marketplace devoted to NFT fans. Designed for artists, Revival became a hit in the very first week of its launch, fetching a whopping transaction volume worth 1 million US dollars.

The portal is expanding its coverage to new domains through strategic collaborations with popular entities. The team is looking forward to join hands with IPs from across the world to strengthen its hold in the industry. Apart from this, IOST leveraged NFT growth by partnering with a Japan-based mixed martial arts institute, the Rizin Fighting Federation. The fed has shown keen interest in fueling NFT-based sports gaming by launching a dedicated market place on IOST ecosystem.
